I don’t like beer. I don’t like wine. I do like Mojitos. Except all the ice melted about a second after I made it because it’s 1000 degrees in my dorm.

Absolutely a beer for everyone. People just need to step their craft game up.

I’ve only ever tried craft beers, and I haven’t found it yet. Not a fan of the bitterness.

The thing with a lot of craft beers is that there’s a lot of hoppiness dickwaving. The trick is to look up the IBUs on a beer, and look for something low - below 20 is low, below 10 is really low.

However, if you’re hypersensitive to bitterness, beer might just not be for you. How do you feel about dark chocolate?

Dark Chocolate is alright, so I don’t think I all bitterness is out of the question. I’ve tried a fairly wide range of beers, light and dark, and while I can pick out the differences between them, they both have that hoppy bitterness I don’t like.

Give beers like farmhouse ales, wild ales, lambic/guezue and gose a try.

They are not bitter but tart.

THIS. People need to stop putting stupid amounts of these three ingredients in things: hops, cilantro, and rosemary. A little goes a long way.

You say you’ve only tried craft beers...

Give a Blue Moon a try. (There’s some craft beers in a similar vein, but I know for a fact that you’ll be able to get a Blue Moon.)

I love me a good Mojito. Probably my go-to mixed drink if I'm out somewhere.

Blue moon is made by coors. It's not craft.

I know, I’m saying there’s some similar craft beers to it, but I know TheJWT will be able to get it, whereas I can’t say “go buy this specific craft beer” and expect them to be able to get it. (For that matter, the one that comes to mind the quickest isn’t even available reliably in my area.)

Yeah true.

I’d say go for Sierra Nevada or stone. Just as widely available and quality for sure. But also they make a lot of hop forward stuff which he doesn’t seem to be a fan of.
